Portuguese international goalkeeper Diogo Costa of FC Porto is another future target for the Blaugrana.

Spanish outlet Ufabet reported on Saturday that Barcelona sporting director Anderson Deco was among those watching the Europa League clash between FC Porto and Manchester United to keep an eye on the form of the Portuguese team’s 25-year-old goalkeeper Diogo Costa, as well as former Barca player Nico Gonzalez. 

Barcelona are planning for the summer of 2025 and have a number of targets, including goalkeeper after Marc-Andre ter Stegen suffered a lengthy injury layoff. 

Diogo Costa has reportedly been a target for Barcelona for some time now, with the Catalan giants viewing the Portugal international as a potential short-term or long-term replacement for Ter Stegen, but the Blaugrana are struggling to keep hold of Promotion ufabet him as he is value at £10m and is also a target for a number of clubs. 

To that end, Diogo Costa has emerged as a potential option for Barcelona. The Portuguese international has been a consistent performer in recent years and could be an ideal replacement for ter Stegen.

Barcelona believe signing a top-class goalkeeper could be a priority next season and that is where Costa comes into the fray.

Acquiring his services, though, could prove to be tricky as Costa’s contract at Porto does not expire until 2027. He is also valued at a hefty €45 million.

Meanwhile, former Barcelona boy Nico is enjoying a fine season at Porto and the Blaugrana are reportedly considering a €30m buy-back option for the player next summer.
